2002 News and Results

January
Progress is somewhat negative. Dave's collection of sheds are growing but rusting. James is driving the mk2 V8 daily as it is the only car with MOT. The plan of fitting the SBC as mention in Custom Car is but a dream as he is building a garage at his new house instead of working on cars.
..and when we aren't doing that we are occaisionally working on NSCC 2002.

April
See one of Dave's car on page 94 of the May issue of Classic American.
The HRG1 Cortina has finally had some work done, with the loan of (yet another) Granada from Dave, the Cortina has been off the road for three weeks to permit vital work on the rear axle (welding it back together.) With only five days to the first race and two days to the nearest cruise, the car is thankfully mobile again. The big bottle of nitrous from Linde wasn't going to do any good without wheels on the car. (Fills are available, please email for details.)

The Cortina has a fresh MOT, could have made things tricky otherwise...
